With the rapid development and increasing maturity of high precision machining equipment, high precision machines such as CNC indexing table, vertical machining centers, vertical machine tools, and grinders, more and more CNC machining equipment is abandoning traditional design and adopting better cross roller bearings.
Cross roller bearings, generally use cylindrical or tapered rollers to cross and interact with each other on a single raceway arrangement, the rollers are separated by retainers or isolation blocks, which have high rotational accuracy, large load capacity, and small dimensions, with high rotational speed and rigidity, with a wide range of applications and unparalleled advantages compared to other bearings.
This cross arranged roller structure allows a single bearing to withstand loads in various directions such as axial load, radial load, and overturning moment. Compared with traditional structural bearings, the rigidity is increased by 3-4 times. At the same time, the dimensions of cross roller bearings are minimized to the greatest extent possible, and the ultra-thin structure is near the limit of miniaturization size and high rigidity, suitable for the joint and rotating parts of industrial robots, as well as CNC rotary table of machine tools, industrial robot arm rotating parts, precision rotating indexing, turrets, medical instruments, etc.
